Populations Served
Boarding Schools, Colleges & Universities
Advocating a systems-based approach, we will work with boarding schools, colleges and universities to support students academically and socially. To better understand the struggles our client is facing that are inhibiting them from reaching their full potential, we work in conjunction with the school’s student support team. Additionally, we make suggestions on how to best support the students within their school and residential environment. We can provide virtual and in-person* support both in terms of counseling and coaching.
For Boarding Schools:
We work with both the academic and residential life teams including dorm parents, counseling, the health center, advisors, administrators and teachers. We strive to understand their perspectives on the support the students need as well as how our client can best support themselves in the classroom and residential setting. While our client is at school, we work with them in-person* or virtually.
For Colleges & Universities:
We work with campus counseling, the health center, our client’s student advisor, and the Office of Support Services to best support the student. We can implement the entire Connections program in-person* or virtually during the semester.
*In-person support dependent upon distance.

Social Skill Issues

A transition to any school setting can be a challenge to someone with behavioral health or executive functioning issues. The Connections program works with the client, the school and the family to assure that our client is supported during their time in whatever type of academic institution they attend.
*In-person support is dependent on the location of the school
